About the role
Performs physical examinations of hospital patients including, but not limited to: new patient visits, pre & post-operative care, hospital consultations, inpatient rounding and discharging of patients per hospital protocol
Responsibilities
- Performs physical examinations of hospital patients
- Provides assistance during procedures
- Orders and interprets diagnostic tests
- Monitors the patient's course of treatment
- Collaborates with physician and staff
Requirements
- Master's degree in Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant studies
- Current, valid Florida ARNP or PA license
- Current, valid DEA license
- ANCC (or equivalent) or PANCE Certification
