About the role
Providing specialized behavioral support to students in K-12 educational settings requires expertise and dedication. This role focuses on delivering evidence-based behavioral interventions under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) within a contract position for the current school year.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior plans in alignment with BCBA supervision
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote positive behavioral outcomes
- Monitor and track student progress using data collection tools
- Provide training and support to school staff on behavior management techniques
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of intervention strategies
Requirements
- Active BCBA licensure is required
- Experience working with K-12 student populations, particularly in special education or autism support settings
- Strong skills in functional behavior assessment and behavior intervention planning
- Ability to adapt interventions across elementary and high school levels
