About the role
Deliver individualized and group instruction to Deaf and Hard of Hearing students across K-12 grades. Develop and implement specialized lesson plans that accommodate students’ auditory and communication requirements. Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student success. Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate effectively with all stakeholders involved in the student’s education.

Requirements
- Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing.
- Experience working with K-12 Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.
- Knowledge of language development, speech therapy techniques, and assistive listening devices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with students, staff, and families.
- Ability to adapt lessons to meet diverse learning styles and needs.
