Paraeducator

A full-time paraprofessional position is available to support a speech-language pathologist within an elementary school setting. This role is contract-based for a full semester and situated in Abingdon, MD.

• Assisting the speech-language pathologist in delivering targeted support to elementary students
• Supporting individual and small group interventions for speech and language development
• Preparing materials and resources as needed for therapy sessions
• Monitoring and documenting student progress under supervision
• Collaborating with the speech-language pathologist and teaching staff to implement effective strategies

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional in a school environment preferred
• Ability to work effectively with students requiring speech and language support
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to follow direction and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
