Clinical Support Rep

Serves as the primary resource for the clinical staff to procure supplies/equipment needed for patient care. Facilitates overall unit maintenance and environmental safety/compliance to ensure regulatory compliance.

• Making regular rounds of the unit to identify and address conditions/issues that do not meet established standards, malfunctioning equipment and supply level issues
• Training/orienting staff with respect to supplies, equipment, safety and infection control procedures
• Maintaining records, databases, spreadsheets, logs and related information for tracking, quality assurance or regulatory purposes
• Participating in budget administration activities
• Representing the unit on various committees (e.g., Safety Committee)

• Associate’s degree in Health Sciences or related field, and two years of recent related clinical support (or equivalent) work experience, preferably within the assigned clinical specialty area
