About the role

The Quality Outcomes Manager (QOM) will have oversight and management of the quality coordinators and quality analyst and will provide strategic leadership and mentoring for the quality department. The QOM is responsible for accurately submitting quality measure reports to appropriate agencies and initiatives. This is achieved by assessing the quality of care provided to patients by examining multiple quality measures and objectives within EMR. These measures include those associated with Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS), Merit Incentive Based Programs (MIPS) and Clinical Quality Measures (CQM). The QOM also offers support regarding recent policy changes made by such initiatives or organizations which can affect the approaches of the EMR Training Team and EMR data reporting. The QOM coordinates with practices, providers, and all levels of management within AHSC to ensure quality measures and standards are being met and that eligible providers are in compliance. The QOM assists in building and maintaining the appropriate analytics infrastructure and processes to support member attribution, quality and other value-based core competencies that improve the patient and provider quality experience. Closely work with providers and clinics to improve the Adventhealth ratings and ACO REACH quality outcomes. Manage the coordination and communication of star ratings, and care gaps closure from quality incentive programs to improve the quality of care provided to patients through regular meetings and reporting. Interface with payers and maintain current knowledge of contracts, compliance requirements and incentive programs. Support and assist in building and maintaining analytical infrastructure and systems to support quality and attribution alignment. Collaborates with leadership and Providers to develop and implement strategic growth plans including identifying, recommending, and implementing practice needs: staffing, services, equipment and facilities. The expertise and experience you'll need to succeed: Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's 5 years of experience Preferred qualifications: Master's Healthcare operations experience Experience with computers and EMR systems
