Assistant, Medical II

Within a team environment, provides support to providers and nurses during patient care encounters. Collects clinical information, completes point of care testing, ensures exam rooms are clean and stocked for patient visits, assists practitioners with examinations, treatment, or procedures, administers prescribed medications within scope, performs follow-up care per provider instructions, and schedules follow-up appointments as ordered.

• 1000 hours of back-office experience required (within 1 year)
• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required
• Basic Life Support required at hire
