Sr. Content Legal Review Attorney

Apple’s Original Content team is responsible for the full range of legal work that goes into the acquisition, production, and worldwide distribution of television, movies, and podcasts. In this role, you’ll conduct the front-line legal assessment of creative concepts and content, in development and production, consistent with the company’s legal policies and practices.

• Conduct the front-line legal assessment of creative concepts and content
• Review development materials, scripts, and cuts
• Liaise with the creative and legal teams to resolve content-related issues
• Provide concise, practical legal advice under tight deadlines
• Give good sense of humor

• Knowledge of legal doctrines that underpin speech and creativity
• Three or more years of experience vetting scripts and cuts
• Five or more years of practicing law
• JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar
• Established, strong relationships within the entertainment industry
• Ideally, experience with cutting-edge integration and digital media initiatives
• Drafting experience
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills
• Sound judgment, strong interpersonal skills, and joy in working collaboratively on cross-functional teams
