About the role
Drive electronic execution product and client expansion, in line with internal business goals and external market structure, in support of Citi’s goal to be a leading Fixed Income franchise. The Salesperson will be responsible for coordinating and implementing eCommerce strategy in Rates, in partnership with wider sales, trading, and technology partners, both regionally and globally.

Requirements
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in electronic trading or financial markets, with a focus on electronic execution
- Proven experience in a client-facing role, successfully engaging with the buy-side community
- Strong existing relationships with key clients and electronic trading platforms
- Solid understanding of the competitive landscape in electronic rates trading
- Broad knowledge of market structure, including the regulatory environment pertaining to trade execution, transparency, and reporting requirements
- Possess strong technical skills, with an understanding of downstream processes and automation within Rates eCommerce
- Consistently demonstrate clear, concise, and effective written and verbal communication
- Experience and interest in data analytics is a significant advantage

- Collaborate daily with voice sales teams to identify and address gaps, proactively engaging low-touch clients to increase inquiry share
- Work closely with trading desks to proactively monitor and improve hit rates on electronic trades
- Liaise with the data science team to integrate business insights into technology projects and interface development
- Streamline e-Distribution processes, optimizing both platform pricing mechanisms and content delivery
- Continuously seek to improve operational processes and implement best practices within the workflow
- Perform daily tasks including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to access setup and operational challenges arising from electronic transactions
- Partner closely with control functions such such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, and Finance to ensure robust governance and control infrastructure
- Adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities Services
- Comply with all policies and procedures relevant to the role, as communicated
- Obtain and maintain all required registrations and licenses within the stipulated timeframes
- Appropriately assess risk in all business decisions, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets
