About the role
Provides complex planning and scheduling support to executive management in lead capacity of planning/scheduling responsibilities at the Portfolio, PMO, or land level development project assignments. Supports the project team with planning and schedule development on large multi-disciplined program(s)/project(s) throughout the entire project life cycle spectrum from concept development through turnkey completions, consistent with project needs and appropriate policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provides complex planning and scheduling support to executive management
- Supports the project team with planning and schedule development
- Develops comprehensive plans and schedules from multiple discipline drawings and specifications
- Prepares project plans and works with scoping/strategy documents to develop integrated project master schedules
- Coordinates with estimating/finance teams to develop appropriate level of detail scope definition and durations for schedule activities
- Coordinates with contractors, vendors, and responsible project team members to develop and integrate activity durations and logic sequences required to perform project work
- Leads planning and coordination meetings as required to support planning and monitoring functions
- Conducts resource loading/resource analysis and develops and statuses earned value tracking tools and progress curves as required
- Produces reports as required to support project team needs and executive management reporting
- Frequently communicates, reports, and interacts with project and core team members including vendors and outside consultants on complex topics
- Implements highly effective project control tools and reports and provides insightful analysis that contributes to schedule certainty
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities
Requirements
- 9+ years of Primavera scheduling experience required
- 8+ years of theme park planning/coordination experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or an applicable field required
- Advanced degrees preferred
