Special Ed Teacher

A Special Education Teacher opportunity is available at an elementary school in Lawrenceville, GA, for the current school year on a contractual basis. • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s abilities and goals
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure comprehensive support
• Adapt curriculum and instructional methods to meet the needs of students with disabilities
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
• Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages student growth and engagement

• Valid state teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience teaching at the elementary school level preferred
• Strong understanding of special education laws, procedures, and best practices
• Ability to create a nurturing and structured learning environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
