A healthcare professional with school nursing experience is needed to provide essential nursing care and support within a middle school setting in Burnsville, MN. This contract position spans the current school year (CSY) and involves working closely with students, staff, and families to promote health and wellness in an educational environment.

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to middle school students, including assessment, treatment, and emergency response
• Manage chronic health conditions and medication administration according to established protocols
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized health plans
• Monitor student health records and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with relevant regulations
• Conduct health screenings and provide health education to support student well-being
• Participate in school-wide health initiatives and serve as a resource for health-related concerns

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with credentials recognized in Minnesota
• Proven experience in school nursing or pediatric healthcare settings
• Strong knowledge of health care regulations and school health policies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills tailored to children and adolescents
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
