About the role
Under direct supervision of Department Manager and guidance of provider, performs a wide variety of eye care duties to assist the medical providers in the examination and treatment of eye disorders
Responsibilities
- Performs a wide variety of eye care duties to assist the medical providers in the examination and treatment of eye disorders
- Makes members/patients and their needs a primary focus of ones actions
- Develops and sustains productive member/patient relationships
Requirements
- High School Diploma OR General Education Development (GED) required
- Registered Medical Assistant (Washington) within 2 months of hire
- Ophthalmic Assistant Certificate required at hire from The Joint Commission on Allied Health Personel in Ophthalmology
