Responsibilities

  • Reviews study accountability information that is entered in the internal system by Investigational Products Center and Site Staff
  • Interacts extensively with internal team members, Site personnel and Monitors/CRA's assigned to the Investigational Products Center and acts as a point of contact for assigned projects
  • Prepares reporting and other documents for review on site and/or uploads them for virtual review
  • Reconciles internal system entries and queries site(s) for resolution and accuracy of study records
  • Maintains files and prepares records for Sponsors' monitoring/auditing teams, and prepares study related documents for off-site storage
  • Prepares Investigational Product approved for destruction to be picked up by 3rd party vendor, and maintains all destruction documentation of Investigational Product
  • Collaborates with team initiatives and serves as support to deliver action items and products to leadership, sites, and sponsor/CRO clients
  • Reviews contents of orders to ensure complete and accurate information has been received and conducts initial check of order to ensure clinical accuracy for processing
  • Creates patient profiles as necessary by entering accurate information to ensure all other groups can successfully serve the site
  • Communicates with sites regarding order status, order clarification, missing information or accountability concerns so that all information is collected and accurate before it reaches other teams for furthering processing
  • Analyzes and recommends improvements to study startup and amendment processes to improve quality and efficiency
  • Participates in team projects and other pharmacy technician duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent, and typically requires 3+ years of relative pharmacy experience
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician Registered with Texas State Board of Pharmacy
  • Proven leadership, process improvement experience, digital mindset, written and verbal communication skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency and ability to use and adapt to digital pharmacy systems
