Multi-Modality Tech II PRN

Responsible for providing quality patient care within two or more medical imaging departments. This position performs high-quality images and exams while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs. This team member follows standards of safe radiation practice and acts as a clinical resource to unit personnel.

• Provides on-call coverage outside of standard hours as per department and facility policy.
• Inputs charges and required data for procedures and supplies used during exams.
• Completes necessary hospital and medical imaging paperwork for each exam performed.
• Maintains technical operation of equipment, notifies service when necessary, and logs service calls or problems per department procedure.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Registered Technologist - Vascular Sonography (RTVS) AHA Required
• Registered Technologist - Sonography (RTS) AHA Required
• ARRT - Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MR) Required or
• Amer Reg Diag Med Sonography (ARDMS) Required or
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) Required or
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Required or
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) Required or
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) Required or
• Registered Technologist - Vascular Sonography (RTVS) Required or
• Registered Technologist - Sonography (RTS) Required or
• Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT-N) Required or
• Nuclear Medicine Technology Cert Board (NMTCB) Required
