RN Med Surg | Leawood, Kansas

Deliver comprehensive nursing care for post-operative surgical patients. Manage ostomy care, irrigation, NGT placement, and Foley catheters. Oversee central line maintenance, JP drains, and wound management. Perform IV starts, blood administration, and nutritional supplementation including TPN and G/J tubes. Utilize advanced medical equipment such as Alaris IV pumps, telemetry, and Pyxis medication machines. Document patient care accurately using the MediTech system. Work collaboratively with a team including unit secretaries and patient care technicians. Adhere to unit scheduling with every 3rd weekend, plus designated Mondays and Fridays. Be prepared to float to related medical/surgical units including ortho neuro and telemetry.

• Current RN licensure with med-surg experience.
• Advanced knowledge of post-operative care protocols.
• Certification in BLS required.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment.
