About the role

The Strategic Equity Solutions (SES) / Equity Derivative Middle Office role is an AVP level position responsible for providing operational support to the SES Origination and Trading desks in coordination with the wider Markets Operations - Equity Derivatives Middle Office teams.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve complex process problems
  • Process various SES Business tasks/functions
  • Offer advanced solutions for assigned securities & derivative processing areas
  • Provide guidance and assistance to junior staff
  • Oversee the set-up / onboarding of new SES Clients
  • Serve as analytical or procedural expert for securities processing deliverables/initiatives
  • Assist with the development of new techniques and streamlining the SES front to back securities & derivatives processing activities
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made
  • Demonstrate sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
