Remote Bilingual School Psychologist Opportunity in Las Cruces, NM (Level III)

• Conduct full psychoeducational assessments including cognitive, achievement, and behavioral measures
• Complete bilingual evaluations for Spanish-speaking students when appropriate
• Write detailed reports interpreting assessment results and making educational recommendations
• Attend virtual IEP meetings and collaborate with special education teams
• Provide short-term counseling for students experiencing academic, social, or emotional difficulties
• Consult with educators on classroom management, instructional strategies, and student support
• Assist in developing and monitoring Response to Intervention (RTI) and behavioral intervention plans
• Offer crisis response services and mental health support as situations arise
• Communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking parents regarding their child's needs and services
• Maintain ethical standards and confidentiality in all professional interactions

• Current New Mexico Level III School Psychologist licensure
• Fluency in English and Spanish across all communication domains
• Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology combined with at least 2 years of school-based experience
• Cultural competence in working with Hispanic/Latino communities
• Experience with virtual assessment administration and telepsychology practices is advantageous
