DC-DC Power System Design Engineer

This position involves implementing the advanced DC-DC power designs for Apple’s next generation Mac platforms

• Work with system and power architects on computer and server power architecture investigations
• Apply technical expertise to analyze design tradeoffs
• Own the power circuit schematic and BOM
• Define complex PMU settings
• Validate the performance of power circuits
• Perform system level testing
• Provide technical support to debug production issues
• Perform comparative benchmarking
• Engage vendors to develop next generation integrated circuits
• Collaborate with engineers from other areas of expertise

• Electrical / Computer engineering degree
• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Understanding single- and multi-phase DC-DC regulators
• Experience with power circuit design, simulations, functionality and performance validation
