Cook 1, Full-Time - Permanent, INTERNAL ONLY, Washington Soldiers Home

• Ensure residents are given nutritional meals, snacks, and supplements
• Ensure food is prepared safely
• Perform simple cooking
• Monitor refrigeration units
• Set up and serve food orders
• Refill condiments and napkins
• Monitor and set up salad bar
• Clean and sanitize equipment, area, and other assigned duties

• Must have or be able to obtain a Washington State Food Handler's permit
• One (1) year of experience in food preparation or cooking
• Completion of a course in large-scale cooking may be substituted for experience
