About the role
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the contract school year (CSY) within a K-12 school setting in Oklahoma City, OK.
Responsibilities
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to K-12 students using evidence-based practices.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation compliant with school and Medicaid regulations.
- Utilize teletherapy techniques as appropriate for student needs.
- Ensure services align with Medicaid requirements and accurately track related billing.
Requirements
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working in school settings (K-12).
- Familiarity with Medicaid billing and documentation protocols.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
- Skills in teletherapy and supporting healthcare environments are advantageous.
- Knowledge and experience working with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) beneficial.
