About the role
The Sr Analyst-Cybersecurity, M&A/D will be responsible for cybersecurity IT support to the M&A/D cybersecurity tower. This position works closely with M&A/D cybersecurity specialists and program manager to support their role as cybersecurity consultant, navigator and auditor. This position reports to the Program Manager-Cybersecurity, M&A/D and frequently collaborates with other members of the M&A/D cybersecurity team.
Responsibilities
- M&A/D Cybersecurity IT Support
- Obtain or generate reports to validate successful, secure and compliant M&A/D transitions
- Provide M&A/D data to other members of the cybersecurity teams for security tools validation
- Review, update or, at times, create documentation such as playbooks, checklists, knowledge based articles or processes
- Create meetings, take minutes, ensure action items have achieved timely follow-up
- Assist with identifying risks, establishing mitigation plans and controls
- Be familiar with GRC, the CIA Triad, the 18 CIS Critical Security Controls, HIPAA and all other cybersecurity guiding principles
- Assist with any auditing activities performed within the M&A/D cybersecurity program
Requirements
- Education: Associate's degree or technical institute degree/certificate in Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field preferred
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in an IT related field
- IT experience in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures (preferred)
- Skills: Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, Excellent written and verbal communications skills, strong customer orientation, great organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience working in demanding and challenging environments
- Experience working in the healthcare industry (preferred)
- Certifications: Advanced certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor) are preferred
