Emergency Room Registered Nurse

A healthcare opportunity is available for an RN with recent Emergency Room experience, especially in trauma (Level I, II, or III), in Tularosa, NM. This contract role requires a skilled nurse capable of managing diverse patient needs from clinic-type cases to critical emergencies, including strokes, STEMIs, post-surgical complications, pregnancy complications, pediatrics, behavioral health, and other emergency department cases.

• Deliver nursing care aligned with the nursing process
• Manage complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families
• Administer medications and treatments following protocol, monitoring outcomes and side effects
• Document patient history, symptoms, and care accurately
• Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers based on assessed learning needs
• Make clinical assignments and delegate as necessary to support effective care

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
• Minimum of one year of ER or related nursing specialty experience preferred
• Current RN license in New Mexico or compact state
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC
