Responsibilities
- Perform nutrition assessment, education, and nutritional therapy for each resident
- Develop, implement, and document nutritional care plans and menus for residents
- Conduct weekly quality assurance by performing tray evaluations and auditing resident records for dietary compliance on nutritional needs
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master’s degree involving a major study in Food and Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited dietetics program
- Registration as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), or eligible for registration at the time of hire, and ability to pass the registration examination within one year of the date of hire
