About the role
Oversee the development, design and production of repair, modification, process and inspection documentation in support of Delta's worldwide maintenance activities as a liaison engineer.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development, design and production of repair, modification, process and inspection documentation in support of Delta's worldwide maintenance activities as a liaison engineer.
- Evaluate and interpret AD, FAR, and Delta policy requirements to ensure compliance in the engineering documentation.
- Aid in analyzing and correcting problems which hamper the maintenance support activities.
- Understand airline operations and pace while providing solutions for a safe aircraft operation.
Requirements
- Four-year accredited undergraduate engineering degree (Aeronautical/Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical) required.
- Requires working odd hours (midnights) and/or weekends (shift work) based on operational requirements.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Problem-solving background with strong analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of maintenance and engineering.
