Phlebotomist

This position involves performing technical diagnostic CT imaging procedures, operating diagnostic equipment, providing patient orientation and care, and performing quality checks. Responsibilities include starting IVs, maintaining rooms, and communicating with patients. Requirements include ARRT registration, state certification, CPR/BLS, and preferred education/experience.

• Start patient IVs
• Perform equipment quality checks
• Room maintenance after procedures
• Inform patient of diagnostic procedure being performed
• Review and verify physician’s orders
• Perform CT exams
• Communicate with patients about diagnostic tests

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - ARRT (R)(CT)
• Certified by the state of Texas - MRT
• CPR/BLS certification
• Associate's degree preferred
• One (1) year of experience as a radiographer or one (1) year of radiography clinical rotation experience in a healthcare setting preferred
