Occupational Therapist School Setting - San Jose, CA

A full-time Occupational Therapist opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting located in San Jose, CA, covering a maternity leave assignment from November 10, 2025, through December 29, 2025. This contract position offers the chance to deliver specialized therapy services to support students’ development and educational success during this temporary assignment.

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized occupational therapy plans tailored to students’ needs
• Implement therapeutic interventions that address fine motor skills, sensory processing, and other functional areas within the school environment
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations and modifications

• Valid Occupational Therapy license and credentialing for school-based practice
• Experience working in K-12 educational settings with diverse student populations
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of current school-based therapy best practices and educational regulations
