About the role
Scrum Master - GenAI
Responsibilities
- Coaching two Scrum teams to achieve greater Agile maturity while maintaining a sustainable and productive development pace
- Facilitating all Agile ceremonies, incl. sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, to keep the teams aligned & on track
- Participate in Scrum of Scrums and facilitate Program Increment (PI) execution
- Work alongside the product owner as a key team leader to proactively identify and resolve potential challenges before they arise
- Maintain relevant metrics that report on progress (e.g. burndown charts, defect trends, user story/feature completion rates, capacity, velocity)
- Supporting and enabling product owners in managing backlogs, refining user stories, and ensuring priorities are clear to drive successful sprint outcomes, in line with business KPIs
- Anticipating and resolving obstacles that hinder progress, enabling your teams to focus on their goals and deliver value consistently
- Acting as a change agent, advocating for Agile principles and best practices across teams and the organization. Coaching team towards self-organization within SAFe
- Foster internal team communication by building a trusting and safe environment where the emphasis on problem-solving. Facilitate discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution
- Influence stakeholders' including leaders Agile behavior's through direct feedback and guidance
- Engage with individual squad members and group to identify opportunities to improve Agile performance and practices and enhance Agile mindset
Requirements
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) & hold SAFe certification
- Significant experience as a dedicated Scrum Master, helping development teams apply Agile, Scrum/SAFe & DevSecOps practices
- Strong leadership skills, with a track record of proactively driving process improvements and solving problems for the product team to enhance ability to deliver value
- Ability to create value for the product by actively anticipating and resolving issues
- Proficient in Agile methodologies and experienced in proactively identifying and removing roadblocks to help teams maintain and enhance momentum
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to lead Agile ceremonies and track progress metrics (i.e. burndown charts, velocity, and user story completion rates)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build trust within teams and facilitate effective collaboration between team members and stakeholders across the business
- Effective and experienced coach, capable of guiding teams to be self-organizing and achieve their objectives
- Passionate about Agile and have experience in highly matrixed organizations where influencing without direct authority is key to success
