DSHS WSH Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant provides clerical and administrative support in the laboratory

• Provide clerical and administrative support in the laboratory
• Assist with venous blood collections
• Perform medical clinic functions
• Support healthcare professionals in examination rooms

• Completion of a Medical Assistant course accredited by the American Association of Medical Assistants or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA)
• High school graduation or equivalent and one year of experience providing direct patient care in a healthcare setting
• Equivalent education/experience
