Registered Nurse Surgical ORNIP Training Program

The RN Circulator assists in any other tasks directed by the specialty coordinator, charge, manager, or director of the CVOR.

• participation in the surgical suite to function in the role of Circulator and assist the surgeon in performing surgical procedures
• maintaining a safe surgical environment during the perioperative course
• planning, administering and/or supervising the nursing activities during the Perioperative and intraoperative care of the patient

• Completion of internal Operating Room Nursing Internship Program (ORNIP) Perioperative Nursing
• Currently registered nurse license with the Florida State Board of Examiners
• ACLS is required within one year
