RN - Medical-Surgical

FlexCare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care to patients in a variety of settings, including the Medical-Surgical unit. You will assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, and educate patients and families on health promotion and disease prevention. You will also document patient care in electronic medical records and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

• Provide direct patient care to patients in a variety of settings
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care

• Conduct health assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Develop and implement patient care plans
• Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families
• Coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals
• Document patient care in electronic medical records
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Stay current with evidence-based practice and professional development

• Current RN licensure in the state of Indiana
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
