Responsibilities
- Leads strategy and programs to enhance clinical operations, leadership capabilities, and organizational alignment, focusing on Clinical Directors, Nursing Directors, and Managers.
- Provides strategic consultation to Practice Leadership on initiatives that improve operational efficiency, staffing models, and employee engagement for clinical roles.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to plan, implement, and evaluate clinical innovations, digital health solutions, and strategic initiatives that advance clinical operations, care delivery, and care team effectiveness.
- Develops and maintains and advises on leadership programs to equip clinical leaders for effective and impactful performance in their roles.
- Designs and maintains career frameworks and job descriptions for nursing and support roles to ensure role clarity and career progression.
- Facilitates shared governance councils to promote leadership collaboration and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.
- BSN or equivalent healthcare degree required.
- Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing Leadership, and/or an Advanced Clinical field preferred.
- Active state licensure in a healthcare profession.
- Critical Skills: 7 + years clinical practice and leadership experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in clinical leadership, including cross-functional team collaboration.
- At least 3 years of clinical experience in oncology required.
- Clinical and leadership experience in outpatient care or community settings preferred.
- Proven ability to implement complex initiatives across care teams.
- Experience creating and evaluating business plans.
- Demonstrated success in driving employee engagement, optimizing clinical workflows, and developing leadership talent.
- Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience creating and delivering presentations to varied audiences including executive professionals and physicians.
- Experience in matrixed healthcare organizations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet, and Copilot preferred.
