Game Performance Automation Engineer

Join Apple's Graphics, Games, and Machine Learning (GGML) organization as a Game Performance Automation Engineer. The Game Performance Automation team is responsible for building a world-class automation and infrastructure solution to measure game performance across our products and competitive hardware at scale.

• Design, build, and enhance automation frameworks
• Ensure exceptional gaming experiences across Apple's product ecosystem
• Collaborate with teams across Apple involving technologies like Apple Silicon, Metal, and AAA gaming
• Research and implement key metrics critical to understanding performance bottlenecks
• Design and develop automated testing frameworks, performance validation tools, and related infrastructure

• BS degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of directly related work experience
• Strong development skills in Swift, Python, Objective-C, C++ or similar languages
• Experience developing robust and repeatable automated testing solutions
• Ability to investigate, debug and triage difficult problems
• Creative thinker and strong problem solver with meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent knowledge and experience with performance testing
• Experience with XCTest and Xcode
