About the role
Join Apple's Graphics, Games, and Machine Learning (GGML) organization as a Game Performance Automation Engineer. The Game Performance Automation team is responsible for building a world-class automation and infrastructure solution to measure game performance across our products and competitive hardware at scale.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and enhance automation frameworks
- Ensure exceptional gaming experiences across Apple's product ecosystem
- Collaborate with teams across Apple involving technologies like Apple Silicon, Metal, and AAA gaming
- Research and implement key metrics critical to understanding performance bottlenecks
- Design and develop automated testing frameworks, performance validation tools, and related infrastructure
Requirements
- BS degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of directly related work experience
- Strong development skills in Swift, Python, Objective-C, C++ or similar languages
- Experience developing robust and repeatable automated testing solutions
- Ability to investigate, debug and triage difficult problems
- Creative thinker and strong problem solver with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent knowledge and experience with performance testing
- Experience with XCTest and Xcode
