School Occupational Therapist

An exciting opportunity is available for a full-time Occupational Therapist to provide specialized services within a K-12 school setting in Hayward, CA. This position is a contract role covering maternity leave from November 10, 2025, through December 29, 2025.

• Deliver occupational therapy assessments and individualized treatment plans tailored to students' educational and developmental needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' participation and success in the classroom.
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals and interventions accordingly.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school policies and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to developing functional goals for students.

• Valid Occupational Therapy license and certification appropriate for California.
• Experience working within school-based settings, preferably covering K-12 populations.
• Strong understanding of school-based therapy services, IDEA regulations, and IEP development.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced school environment.
