Attractions Attendant - Castle Show

Responsible for the safe operation of shows and delivering exemplary guest services. Major Responsibilities: Operating a show while ensuring compliance of safety procedures and providing exemplary guest service. Screens guests for special needs access and usher’s guests as necessary, loads and unloading shows. Provides safety instructions and ensures compliance with all operating policies and procedures. Provides assistance and reacts to any safety hazards that are present during the operation of the show. Assists in the evacuation of the show in case of downtime by providing crowd control both indoors and outdoors. May be required to operate a console to open doors, deliver automated spiels, start a show or discontinue the show.

• Welcomes and engages the guests by delivering themed narrations of story lines
• Provides show information and times
• Monitors the queue lines and makes the appropriate adjustments
• Assists the entertainer with meet and greet opportunities by communicating with guests, controlling crowds and taking photos
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment by constantly monitoring the immediate area and/or surroundings
• Responsible for ensuring a neat and organized work area, trash removal and keeping the area free of debris to include: proper maintenance of equipment and/or props
• Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High school degree or GED is required
• Equivalent combination of education and/or theme park experience preferred
