Underwriting Account Representative - Chubb External Careers

• Support the underwriting process for New & Renewal Chubb Customers for multiple lines of insurance coverages
• Collaborate with team members to achieve growth, profit, service and producer/client management goals
• Gather and analyze account information, interpret, and translate data into rating and issuance instructions
• Utilize federal and state compliance and regulatory rules to comply with corporate pricing strategies

• PC Skills: knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word and Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and Internet navigation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with internal and external partners
• Proven analytical skills and mathematical aptitude (arithmetic, algebra and basic accounting principles)
• Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills which lead to confident decision making
• Ability to learn quickly, prioritize work, and perform within time constraints
• Strong time and desk management skills and detail orientation will aid the candidate in meeting or exceed the established business goals
• Basic knowledge of underwriting principles and policy forms is a plus
• Ability to work independently within a team/group environment with ability to collaborate with others
• Ability to adapt to fast paced environment
