About the role
Licensed Practical Nurse 4 (LPN4) for the Washington Corrections Center for Women (WCCW)
Responsibilities
- Practice nursing safely and effectively in the correctional setting
- Monitor and collect specific data about the health status of individuals
- Assist the Registered Nurse in developing nursing diagnoses and outcomes
- Carry out the plan of care by performing common therapeutic nursing interventions
- Provide patient education regarding medications and prepare release medications
Requirements
- Initial and continuous unencumbered licensure in the State of Washington
- Two years' experience working as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Training by the American Heart Association in Healthcare Provider CPR
