About the role

Provides engineering support and moderate system redesigns to enhance the reliability and operational performance of building environmental systems, including HVAC, humidity control, lighting, and building management systems across both guest-facing and back-of-house facilities. Evaluates the condition and performance of critical infrastructure such as chiller plants and boilers, and recommends appropriate maintenance strategies, repairs, replacements, and capital improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Provides engineering support and moderate system redesigns to enhance the reliability and operational performance of building environmental systems, including HVAC, humidity control, lighting, and building management systems across both guest-facing and back-of-house facilities.
  • Evaluates the condition and performance of critical infrastructure such as chiller plants and boilers, and recommends appropriate maintenance strategies, repairs, replacements, and capital improvements.
  • Troubleshoots, root cause analyzes, system redesigns, programs building automation systems, and oversees testing and commissioning of implemented solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university (ABET accredited) in Mechanical, Structural or Civil Engineering, with a focus on Utility, Facility, or Asset Management specialty, or related field, required.
  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferred.
  • Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Florida, preferred.
