Remote Special Education Teacher

We are seeking a certified and experienced Remote Special Education Teacher to provide virtual instruction and support to K–12 students with disabilities in New Mexico. The teacher will deliver individualized instruction based on IEP goals, collaborate with school staff and families, and monitor student progress in a remote learning environment.

• Deliver specialized instruction remotely to students with diverse disabilities in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, parents, and school staff to support student success.
• Conduct virtual assessments and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings.
• Modify curriculum and provide accommodations and modifications tailored to individual student needs.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and service delivery.
• Utilize virtual learning platforms and tools to engage students effectively.

• Valid New Mexico Special Education Teacher License issued by the New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED).
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 1–2 years of special education teaching experience.
