Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned clinic or specialty area.

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Take vital signs, record medical histories, and update EMR
• Assist providers with clinical procedures and treatments
• Perform basic lab tests and specimen collection
• Administer medications and injections as directed by provider
• Maintain exam rooms, medical supplies, and equipment
• Support scheduling, referrals, and patient flow
• Ensure compliance with clinical policies, procedures, and quality standards

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Current certification for a Medical Assistant required
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
