About the role
Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned clinic or specialty area.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Take vital signs, record medical histories, and update EMR
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and treatments
- Perform basic lab tests and specimen collection
- Administer medications and injections as directed by provider
- Maintain exam rooms, medical supplies, and equipment
- Support scheduling, referrals, and patient flow
- Ensure compliance with clinical policies, procedures, and quality standards
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Current certification for a Medical Assistant required
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
