About the role
Corporate Accountant - FTC
Responsibilities
- Ensure complete, accurate and timely corporate reporting
- Corporate accounting processes
- Intercompany reconciliations for service level agreements
- Balance sheet substantiation, including comprehensive reconciliations
- Support interim and year-end SOX requirements
- Continuous improvement of the quality and efficiency of underlying working files
- Provide cover for broader Corporate team
- Support complete, accurate and timely tax submissions
- Assist with the preparation and submission of Singapore GST return
- Provide tax certificates and other tax documents to the business
- Ensure complete, accurate and timely broker financial reviews
- Support due diligence process
- Assist Corporate Controller in enhancing processes, reporting and documentation
Requirements
- 5+ years working in a similar role (insurance industry preferable)
- Qualified Accountant (5+ years preferable)
- Highly driven and ambitious self-starter with the willingness to embed change, where necessary
- Good knowledge of UK GAAP, US GAAP and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
- Good analytical skills
- Good knowledge of financial process and controls
- Good communication skills
- Good I.T. skills, including Microsoft Office and advanced Excel
- Good knowledge general ledger systems (e.g. SAP/Sun)
