About the role

Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive care to critically ill patients, including those requiring neuro and trauma interventions.
- Perform complex procedures such as rapid intubation, chest tube insertion, and external ventricular drain (EVD) management.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to adapt to changing patient acuity and unit demands.
- Utilize EMR systems to document patient care accurately and comply with unit policies.
- Demonstrate flexibility by adjusting assignments mid-shift when needed to maintain high standards of care.
Requirements
- Active RN license with ICU experience, specifically in neuro and trauma care.
- Proficiency in managing critically ill patients with complex conditions.
- Preferred neuro certification and experience with advanced procedures.
- Ability to manage patients with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, with potential for higher acuity.
- Strong clinical judgment coupled with adaptability and teamwork skills.
