About the role
A full-time contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide in-person therapy services primarily at the elementary level within a K-12 school setting in Fort Worth, TX. This role is offered for the current school year (CSY).
Responsibilities
- Deliver individual and group speech therapy sessions focusing on pediatric populations
- Conduct evaluations and interpret assessment results to determine student needs
- Prepare detailed written reports documenting progress and therapy outcomes
- Monitor student progress consistently and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Participate actively in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings to discuss student progress and goals
Requirements
- Valid certification and licensure as an SLP or credential as an SLPA
- Experience in school-based speech therapy, particularly with pediatric clients
- Familiarity with teletherapy techniques is a plus but in-person service is primary
- Comfort working within a collaborative educational team environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage documentation and meetings
