Stepdown Registered Nurse

Provide expert nursing care as a Stepdown RN in an acute care setting, focusing on comprehensive assessment, coordination, and delivery of patient-centered care.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for stepdown patients
• Deliver direct patient care with attention to individualized needs
• Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions
• Coordinate transitions of care in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Foster communication among patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers

• Current California RN licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of stepdown nursing experience
