RN Oncology and Hematology

Performs a wide variety of professional nursing care activities, multitask and accommodates services for the physicians and the practice, following established standards, practices, policies and procedures.

• Performs a wide variety of professional nursing care activities
• Multitask and accommodates services for the physicians and the practice
• Triage and treat cancer-related issues
• Input chem treatment orders per the ordering physician
• Coordinate chemo treatment start and stop appointments with infusion center
• Give supportive resources/ education to the patient and family members on treatment and side effects
• Access ports (port flush & blood draw)

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
• Current, valid Florida State of Board Nursing Registered Nursing License
• BLS Certified
• 1 years of professional nursing experience
• Port Flush experience
