• Receive and process new and refill prescriptions.
• Enter prescription data into the pharmacy computer system (patient info, dosage, prescriber, etc.).
• Prepare, count, measure, or mix medications under supervision of a registered pharmacist.
• Order, receive, unpack, and store incoming medications and supplies.
• Monitor inventory levels and expiration dates; remove expired or recalled stock.
• Ensure compliance with state & federal laws (e.g. Florida Board of Pharmacy, DEA regulations) and internal policies.
• Assist with audits, record-keeping, documentation, and maintaining required licenses/registrations.
• Provide good customer service: answering phone calls, assisting patients with drop?offs and pick?ups.
• Communicate with prescribers, insurance companies, and other healthcare providers as needed (e.g. for clarifications, authorizations).
• Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries while maintaining confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).

• Minimum 2 years of retail and call center experience.
• Valid and active Florida State Pharmacy Technician License.
• Valid and active PTCB certification.
• Pharmacy Technician experience.
