Responsibilities

  • Train new and existing staff
  • Create detailed program specific procedures and training tools
  • Maintain and update training manuals per policy and system changes
  • Assign work and ensure unit work goals are maintained
  • Review and assess provider applications for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to established unit policy, procedure, state laws and regulations

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field
  • Ability to key 40+ words per minute
  • Equivalent education/work experience in healthcare credentialing can be substituted year-for-year for education
