Customer Solutions Engineer, Database, Storage, Google Cloud (English, Mandarin)

The Google Cloud Support team guides customers through their cloud journey to help businesses grow. We help customers transform and evolve their business through the use of Google’s global network, data centers, and software infrastructure. Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry.

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and solve database migration issues.
• Create and deliver best practice recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, sample code, and technical presentations, tailoring approach and messaging to multiple levels of business and technical stakeholders.
• Analyze on-premises and cloud database environments and consult on the optimal design for performance and deployment on Google Cloud Platform.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience in troubleshooting, advocating for customer needs, and managing technical issues including managing client-facing projects, and working with engineering and business services teams.
• Experience with database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
• Experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products including design, architecture, and coding software in Java, C++, or Python.

• Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin to support client relationship management in this region.
• Ability to work non-standard hours, including working weekends, night shifts, and holidays as required.
