About the role

The Director Practice Performance assists physician practices and providers to improve and maintain overall performance at the 75th percentile of national standards. The Director does this through expertise in practice work flows, electronic health record and practice management/revenue cycle systems, and performance improvement methodologies. The Director serves as the central resource for physician practices on the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives to achieve stated goals related to physician wellbeing, staff satisfaction, consumer engagement, financial outcomes, and clinical outcomes. The Physician Enterprise Director is responsible for facilitating diverse teams and must be skilled at communicating across multiple levels of the organization. While significant focus will be placed on the optimization of IT systems, the Director will also be responsible for guiding the team to deliver whole practice improvement including but not limited to activities focused on policies and procedures, regulatory programs, quality programs, patient flow, and task allocation. The Director of Practice Performance is responsible for organization, control, leadership, and supervision of the training development and delivery teams as well as the performance improvement teams The value you'll bring to the team: Assist with scheduling SPAN patients utilizing appropriate schedule modalities Perform pre-visit assessment on all new SPAN patients (when applicable) During intake assessment, obtain/document in EMR - ROI, Family History, Social History, Past Medical History & reason for visit Ensure prior patient medical records are available prior to scheduled appointment Order psychological testing (if applicable) as directed by provider Coordinate Home Health Care and Care Management as directed by provider Assist with patient referral as directed by provider Qualifications The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed : Bachelor's Required 5 Work Experience Required Microsoft Office suite experience with advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills Familiarity with physician practice transformation in the multi-specialty setting, supported by project management and quality improvement principles Knowledge of quality reporting and physician practice regulatory programs (e.g., PQRS, MACRA) Knowledge in Healthcare Operations, Information Technology, Revenue Cycle, Practice Operations, Clinical Operations, Nursing Work Flow, Physician Work Flow, Medical Information Proficiency in identifying, defining, analyzing, and displaying metrics and goals Expertise in process improvement methodologies Expertise in process mapping and process mapping tools Project management experience Knowledge of/experience with athenaCollector and athenaClinical Knowledge of adult learning styles and training strategy, development, and delivery in support of physician practice operations including adoption of practice management/EHR systems Knowledge of quality reporting and physician practice regulatory programs (e.g., PQRS, MACRA) Familiarity with formal change management models (e.g., GE CAP, Destra ACT) Project Management Professional (PMP) Preferred Six Sigma Green Belt Certification (CSSGB) Required Or Six Sigma Black Belt Certification (CSSBB) Required Or Lean Bronze Certification Required
