Nursing Assistant Lead, Evening Shift, Full-Time - Permanent, Spokane Veterans Home

• Assist or supervise assigned residents with activities of daily living under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
• Promote resident-centered care and ensure that Veterans are treated with dignity and respect
• Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities such as bathing, personal grooming, dressing, and eating
• Accurately obtain and record vital signs and other resident data
• Observe, document, and report changes in resident's condition or behavior to the licensed practical nurse

• A combination of education and experience may be considered on a year-for-year basis
• Valid Washington state license to practice as a nursing assistant certified
• One (1) year of experience as a nursing assistant in a healthcare setting involving direct patient care
• Must be proficient in the English language and be able to read, write and speak English
